was reviewed and updated, reinforcing the social accountability aspects.
The procedure involves suppliers making a commitment to respecting the principles of the Suppliers’
Code, the Ratti Group’s Code of Ethics and all the principles of the management systems adopted by
Ratti. Finally, in order to improve the level of supplier monitoring, from 2020 a document titled “Safety, En-
vironment and Social Accountability check-list” has been made available, in order to carry out preliminary
assessments of suppliers’ workplaces..
In addition, for major suppliers and those coming from those countries considered to be at risk in terms of
respecting and safeguarding human rights, an evaluation of social accountability aspects is carried out. In
particular, during 2020 suppliers considered to be at greater risk in terms of product type and geographi-
cal area of origin were asked to sign a specific declaration with regard to the fight against forced labour.
For suppliers there are regular monitoring and evaluation procedures.
The subsidiaries, even though they represent limited volumes of purchases, require their main suppliers
to confirm, in writing, their acceptance of the Suppliers’ Code. In Creomoda and La Maison des Accessoi-
res suppliers also fill in the SA8000 self-assessment questionnaire.
